Well, they put an RB26 in it. Yeah, I know you weren`t discussing the RB, but it gives credibility to the I6 argument. I don`t think it is specifically the 2JZ motor, but rather the inline cylenders. But then again, top fuel cars make thousands of HP with V-8`s. Ford`s 300cid I6 was a torque monster for it`s day. Did I make a clear prognosis? nope. This is one of those dyno only proven questions. But I am tired of seeing 800 plus RWHP supras getting magazine coverage while we have a *meager* 550-600 average (thanks for the whopping 744 in HCI Wagz!). Anyway.
